Joe Claussell has long been one of New York City's busiest dance figures, thanks to his work in all areas of the house community: as a highly respected DJ, producer,remixer, label-head (Spiritual Life Music and Ibadan), and record-shop owner (Dance Tracks).

Spiritual Life has released tracks from a host of New York nu-house teams including Claussell himself, Mateo & Matos, Blaze, Slam Mode, and frequent production partner Jephte Guillaume.

 

 

 

In between With their roots firmly planted in their hometown of Boston, Soul Clap went out into the world to perform at places like The Marcy Hotel, Fabric, The Electric Pickle and Bar25 and in smaller places in America, Europe, Japan, Mars and Jupiter plus dancefloors in other galaxies that you haven´t heard of.

They blasted into space with a series of game changing edits (including the summer 2010 anthem Extravaganza), originals (Action/Satisfaction & Lonely C) and remixes (for Laid Back, Metronomy, Little Dragon, Robert Owens, DJ Harvey and more).

 

Justin Martin is a San Francisco-based house DJ and producer whose best tracks and remixes tend to be lean, finely melodic, and a little playful. He debuted with the 2003 single "The Sad Piano." Released on Ben Watt's Buzzin' Fly label, played by Derrick Carter and Pete Tong, and licensed by Steve Bug, the single got Martin's recording career off to an impressive start.
